I recently had my 60th birthday, a milestone I was a little apprehensive about…

Last minute dash to find a beautiful dress for my High Tea function my family organised. I was greeted by the lovely Chicki, Store Manager in Barton Street, Hamilton, with a radiant smile and a big welcome.

I told her my plight, and she went to work putting dresses into the dressing room for me to try. The fabric on one dress caught my eye, but I thought it would not suit me. Chicki said, "Try them all," so I did… until the lucky last. Nothing suited me… and then the ONE that first caught my eye with the beautiful fabric! I squealed with excitement, felt so feminine and beautiful, twirling around the shop like I owned the catwalk, haha. Delighted laughter from my friend Denise, breathing a sigh of relief… I finally found a dress!!

The experience was the nicest I have received in any shop. "Chicki, you rock, girlfriend!" A very big thank you for being a superstar!! You put people at ease and have a flair for design and colour. I will be back. Annah S, this lady is a keeper!

P.S. And thank you for the five star treatment and much welcomed fizzy water… sipping and chatting on the couch. Best birthday therapy ever!
