September Wrap Up

Wrap up September 2024
Another month down, and whilst good to be back into work and family again, I do miss the river cruising just a little bit, as it was such a fabulous time, and I often find myself reflecting on the many joyous moments of our new adventures together in Europe.
As always, thereβs never too much time to pause in my life, and this month has been loaded with wonderful moments that I look forward to sharing with you all.
Speaking in Tairua for Project Mammogram
What an absolute privilege to be asked to speak by Maree (an ex-employee and now boutique owner stocking our label) to an engaged group of lively ladies (many in Annah Stretton) at Tairua, in support of Project Mammogram. They have an ambitious target to raise $350,000 to bring a 3D mammogram machine to the Coromandel Coast, a goal they have almost achievedβvery impressive, and such an honour to be able to support them with this.
The RAW alumni are now working inside the prison with the RAW women.
It has been a huge month in respect of the RAW ladies, with a masterβs year being completed, a business bought, and promotions happening in jobs. They are an incredible group of women that I proudly support and connect with daily. Speaking to the Tahuna Lions, where four of the women joined me, enabled us to showcase our work in a local community to a very active service group, where we highlighted the RAW womenβs ongoing and very diverse pathways of success. Being cleared to visit the Auckland Womenβs Prison (AWRCF) bi-monthly, with four RAW women, has been a huge advance in our work. Inside AWRCF, we now connect with over 40 women, giving them the benefit of their friends and colleagues who are intent on demonstrating positive life change.
Spending time hanging with the grandkids
This is one of my favourite pastimes, and September did not disappoint, as there were many opportunities to simply hang out with the grandkids. A visit from Lily and Violet saw the wonderful mania return as we looked for a diversity of activities to enhance our days. A trip to Ninja Valley and making cupcakes (where the icing was much more the focus) became our highlights. I was a little apprehensive reconnecting with River after 5 weeks away, but he still knew who Narnah was, and we got right back into βbeing usβ, just as we were before I left.
Loving the new beach collection ponchos and gorgeous bathers
I am writing my wrap from the beach this weekend, and the day that is advancing looks to be a perfect spring/summer day. I love this time of the year when it is so full of absolute promise of what is to come, and daylight saving has arrived. Our bather collection is obviously at the forefront at the moment, with so many new styles arriving. I am sharing a few of my favourite images with you; these were taken the day after I returned from the UK/USA trip on the Mount beach, where my gorgeous niece Meg agreed to be our model.
Enjoy October with this gorgeous weather, longer days, and the silly season advancing all too quickly!
Annah x
