A Month of Birthdays
January was a huge month of birthdays, beginning with baby Ted’s first birthday, then a 65-year dinner for my special friend Roni. For Mums 86 there is always a big celebration on her significant day, and to wrap up the month was my son Edward’s 34th. So many cakes to bake and so many wonderful moments to share.
New Business Ideas, New Products
With Chinese New Year in mid-January, there was little time to stop and rest over Christmas and New Year. My mind was actively working with our trusted suppliers to develop new product ideas that I am super excited to share with you all as the year rolls out.
As 2025 rolled in and so many new business ideas filled the heads of my friends and extended family, it has been a privilege to help them work through their concepts to see where there is business variability in their passion projects.
AS Golf
Our AS Golf Collection is well underway—watch out for our launch in May 2025. I have loved seeing all the samples come to fruition, and it has been a wonderful experience to work alongside the Ngaruawahia Golf Club ladies to develop this styling for our inaugural collection.
Winter Photo Shoot
The season change is here. Our winter photo shoot did not disappoint. With the gorgeous Summer as our model again and the theme of Snow Queen, we spent a wonderful day in 25-degree heat shooting our new autumn and winter styles.
Grandkids at the Beach
What a summer of first for so many of the grandkids—learning to swim at the beach, trying new foods, mastering bike riding, baking cupcakes, and all sorts of other crazy moments. I love the dimension they add to my manic life.
Make the most of 2025, as there's one absolute guarantee, that this year will fly, we need to endeavour to slow it down and enjoy being in the moment.
