What did I do before working for Stretton Clothing?
I worked in a mixture of Law/Real Estate Office Management roles. After completing my Legal Executive Certificate I went to Canterbury University and started studying for my Law Degree, I enjoyed it, but I wasn't passionate about what I was learning. While studying I held two jobs, working for Annah Stretton and for a Wardrobe Stylist/Event Co-ordinator, I really started tapping into my creative/artistic skills that had been dormant for some time. I loved fashion and clothes! I loved the creative flair Annah's label had and asked for full time employment.
Why I love my job!
This is the first job I have ever had where I can use both sides of my brain, the technical and the creative. Annah and the team are incredibly supportive and expect growth, creativity and development at a high level. The satisfaction from seeing an idea blossom and come to fruition is an amazing experience.
Travel! I love to be on the move, nationally and internationally. This job has allowed me to appreciate New Zealand and other areas from a different perspective, from driving down Desert Road on a cold clear day and enjoying the historical buildings and culture of Wales.
What are my ambitions within the company?
I have a passion for expos; I love the high paced atmosphere, the travel and exposing new faces to Annah's brand. I see myself in the future having a huge role in organising and managing these on an international level.
I am really interested in the digital strategies that are starting to emerge and enjoy coming up with new ideas on how these can improve, on the web and throughout the company.
