How long have I been with Stretton Clothing?
What a whirlwind! Since arriving in NZ my life has gone from moving to paradise to working with one of NZ 's key designers & I haven't looked back. You could say I've done it all - been there done that from managing a pub, nursing to Real Estate to name a few. Seven years later, I can safely say thanks to Annah Stretton I have acquired skills in areas I never thought possible.
Why I love my job!
Yeah, its a job but, its not its more than that. I can't even put my passion into words I just LOVE my work. I can be dressing local mum or a top corporate babe one day, & the next one of NZs leading columnists - my list of celebs is a "who's who". No two days are ever the same. The opportunities are endless ranging from overseas trips to America, Japan, UK and Oz to Fashion Shows and Expos around the country.
Annah Stretton is a legend. She is a straight shooting kind-a-girl. What you see is what you get. She's a strong, hard working woman, who isn't afraid to step into our shoes. Don't be surprised to find her working alongside girls in her shops around NZ. And, she is only a phone call away if you need her for whatever reason. I love the fact that Annah is a great advocate for the real woman, I'm a plus size girl (extra lovely as we like to say) which most designers would shy away from, not Annah. She is open to suggestions and new ideas from all her girls about every facet of the company. This is so encouraging,a lot of the girls come up with such fab ideas which Annah is willing to in corporate if economically viable.
