How long have I being with the company?
I started with this fantastic company at the end of January 2011.
What did I do before working for Stretton Clothing?
Before working for Annah Stretton, I worked in the hospitality industry then pharmacy for 7 years selling, marketing, promoting good health, medicines and vitamins. I then advanced to manage fine fragrance for Estee Lauder then Elizabeth Arden, achieving high sales results and attending conferences for these companies. Working in this environment, training new staff etc, I knew pharmacy couldn't take me any further.
I needed a new challenge, a great job that would take me places, that job with that x factor, the job that could see my amazing ability to sell and appreciate my skills, the job where I could go up the company ladder. Most importantly I needed to work with a great team of supporting, like minded, passionate woman, like me. When I saw the advertisement on Trade Me I thought ‘Wow! This is me, I can do this.’ I thought my sales abilities from working in pharmacy could transfer to selling the fabulous clothes designed by Annah Stretton.
So I applied! After a few phone calls talking to the lovely people that are Stretton Clothing Company I had that all important first interview. I went away going ‘Wow!! This company knows what they want, where they are going etc...’ I even had more questions for them; I knew I wanted to be a part of the success that is Annah Stretton!
They even wanted to see me again! I got the job!! I have never being so excited I couldn't wait to get started. This is my dream job.
It has now being some months down the track and this company is exceeding my expectations. I manage a great store.
Why I love my job!
I love the clothes, the people I meet every day – they love us fussing over them and dressing and helping them make the right choices and of course going that extra mile for them. The company staff is always there for us, only a phone call away, they are amazing and great to work with.
What are my ambitions within the company?
I see myself already growing in this great company. I see myself promoting and selling this great company nationally and internationally. I love talking to people who ask the great story that is behind Annah Stretton and to share my infectious enthusiasm for the brand. I would love to be a part of the Senior Managment team and really get behind the scenes that drive this brand. I believe I have a lot to offer and bring on new and exciting staff who are just as passionate and as motivated as myself to be the best for this company. Who knows what opportunities may lay ahead for my career in the Stretton Group. I'm excited.
